Slitch is a slang term for a promiscuous female. It is a portmanteau of "slut " and "bitch ."
It was first used in the novel Friday by science fiction giant Robert A. Heinlein .
Slitch carries approximately the same meaning and emotional connotations as the American slang terms, "slut."
